1. GATE VALVES
a. Seat ring in 2" is 13% Cr. Flared in the body.
b. Alternate base material (at manufacturer's option) of wedge is ASTM A217 Gr. CA15
for trim 1, 5, 8 and A351 Gr. CF8M for trim 12.
2. GLOBE VALVE
a. Seat ring base material for Trim 1, 5, 8 is ASTM A182 Cr F6. In Trim 12 it is ASTM A182
Cr F316.
b. Alternate base material (at manufacturer's option) for disc is ASTM A217 Gr. CA15 for
trim 1, 5, 8 & ASTM A351 Gr. CF8M in trim 12.
The options of stem packings offered in AIL Cast Steel Valves are given below:
